[GREENVILLE, SC] – October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month – and Eagle Mountain Winery located just 20 miles north of Greenville knows it’s not too early to help all those touched by cancer.  Beginning now through October, take a trip to visit this unique winery in the SC mountains and purchase a bottle of Rosé Wine to support the Cancer Survivors Park Alliance (CSPA).

Russ Gardiner, President of Eagle Mountain Winery, and Kay Roper, Executive Director of the Cancer Survivors Park Alliance (CSPA), announced today that Eagle Mountain Winery (2330 SC Hwy 11 in Travelers Rest) will donate 10% of every bottle of their Soaring Eagle Collection Rosé Wine bought at the winery to the Cancer Survivors Park Alliance.

“The Eagle Mountain Winery family is excited to be a part of supporting cancer awareness and particularly Breast Cancer Awareness Month with our pink Rosé. We are supporting the mission of the Cancer Survivors Park Alliance and their beautiful park in downtown Greenville and would love to see the community support this great cause while enjoying the relaxing experience here at Eagle Mountain Winery.”

The Rosé Wine was crafted by renowned California winemaker, George Bursick, and will sell in the winery’s tasting room for $18 a bottle. It is a traditional style Rosé produced from primarily Sangiovese grapes which exhibits aromas of rose petals, violets, and raspberries. These desirable characters continue into a long, semi-sweet mouthful with bright acidity beckoning one refreshing glass after another.

CSPA reminds all that the organization defines survivors as patients with the disease, their families, friends, and loved ones who take the cancer journey alongside them as well as when one loses the earthly battle with cancer, those who remain are their survivors, left to carry on the memories, legacies and to celebrate the survivor spirit.
