Jarret Forrester is a Singer-songwriter from Greenville SC! This hard-working musician plays original music all over the southeast and is expanding fast! Playing over 125 dates a year it’s no wonder the word is getting out about the young songwriter. Jarret also released a brand new original independent record, produced by Grammy-nominated musician Andrew Crawford on October 16th. From a young age, Jarret has loved music and guitars and has had tunnel vision since starting in music. Forrester also plans to release a music video in the winter of next year as well as a new all original EP.

I play an eclectic blend of 70's & 80's Pop, with some folk and country added in, then it's topped off with some more current music. My primary inspiration is the singer/songwriter style and I have some original music as well.

Chris Vita is a country singer-songwriter who spent 10 years in Nashville singing in all the honky tonks and venues around town. He just moved back to easley and has a regular gig downtown Greenville every weekend at Cowboy Up Saloon. He just put out his first studio album Honky Tonk Daze, and has music videos to all the songs on YouTube!

Best known for his powerful, intricate work on 12 string guitar, songwriter and guitarist Bobby Wynn plays mostly original songs and acoustic fingerstyle guitar, with genres ranging from contemporary to folk, Celtic, and new age.

Originally from the sandhills of South Carolina, Vilai Harrington grew up firmly planted in his soulful country upbringing. Complemented by The Hamptones consisting of Josh Riley on bass, Adam Bachman on dobro, Joe Tamburro on percussion, and Jake Garrett on pedal steel and guitar (each representing different regions in the state), the group captures their Appalachian musical roots and puts a modern Americana spin on it. The results are folk songs with a unique swagger and country twang driven by emotive and wholely satisfying vocals.

From rocking stages across the southeast to singing praises from the choir loft, Trey Duncan has flirted with just about everything music has to offer. Trey is an independent Country Rock’n’Soul artist based out of Greenville, SC and has been performing professionally since 2019. He marries his Chris Stapleton-esque vocals with a light-hearted smile and versatile guitar chops.

James Tucker was born in the foothills of the North Carolina Blue Ridge mountains on a family farm. James left his hometown to serve in the U.S. Army for a full term. Currently residing in the Upstate of South Carolina. You can find James and his band traveling all across the states and local, sharing his songs and sound. His music and songwriting reflect a humble upbringing with reflections of his deep southern roots and experiences. Influences and sounds are bundled in A mixture of Country, Americana, Appalachian and more.

We are a small non-profit dedicated to serving Greenville, SC and beyond through education outreach and regular performance in a variety of settings. Since 2012, the Greenville Jazz Collective has connected with many dedicated professional musicians, arts organizations, and music educators in Upstate South Carolina and Western North Carolina to reach tens of thousands of people with award-winning jazz programs.
